ABOUT THE CHARACTER

Fans are wild for Gilles' character, Luc Laurent, on ABC's Brothers & Sisters. When Sarah Walker (Rachel Griffiths) stumbles across Luc's barn in the middle of nowhere while traveling through Bourgogne, he immediately falls in love with her and goes to America to be with her. In Gilles' words, "He's a brilliant painter and his integrity is very important, but he doesn't have any ego. So for the love of Sarah, he will do things that he would not normally do. He wants nothing from her, just to be with her." However, all their differences become apparent. "Luc is very spontaneous because he's an artist. For Sarah everything needs to be square. That's why they have problems. But they love each other and down the line, Luc is going to do things to help Sarah understand who she really is in her heart. He's there to make her realise how powerful love is and how important it is to have in your life." (For more information about the show, visit ABC's website here.)
